April M. Mosby (Patent Counsel)

With over 20 years of Patent Prosecution, Patent Licensing, and Appellate experience, April has protected Fortune 100 client’s products and services in a timely, cost-efficient manner. In particular, April has prepared prosecuted and maintained over 400 domestic and international patent applications (drafting over 60 Prevailing Appeal Briefs and over 600 Amendment Responses). During her tenure at the USPTO on the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, she drafted over 500 Appellate Decisions in the software, telecommunications and electrical arts. April's current practice also includes Trademark and Copyright Prosecution.

The vast technology areas of patents which she drafted and prosecuted include digital signal processing, mixed signal processing, analog circuit design, software (including SAAS, cloud computing, data encryption, gaming software, deep packet inspection (DPI)), security software systems, storage systems, semiconductor processing, artificial intelligence/machine learning (for electrical and micro-biology systems), distributed ledger technology, smart NIC (network interface card) technology, Kubernetes life-cycle component management (LCM) systems, light detection and ranging (LiDAR) systems, crypto-currency/ distributed ledger technology, aeronautical devices, analog circuit design, LCoS displays, converged infrastructures, Internet of Things (IoT) systems, memory, wireless (cellular) communications, fiber optics, broadband, telecommunication switching systems, bio-tech and medical instruments, image processing, power generation, engines, automotive communications systems, mechanical equipment, and various other electro-mechanical instruments.
